Why Seek Treatment at Country Road? 5 Things That Make Our Residential Treatment Programs Superior

Why does Country Road stand out among residential treatment programs? In this blog we’ll uncover the distinctive elements that make our approach superior for your journey towards recovery and wellness.

Writing a blog on why Country Road is the best place to seek addiction treatment may seem like a conflict of interest. It is. But we are proud of our program and honestly believe we offer some of the most comprehensive, personalized, and overall superior treatment for substance abuse in Oklahoma. So we’re going to talk about it because when it comes to in-patient rehab, finding the right facility can make all the difference in the world. At Country Road, we understand the importance of providing not just treatment, but an experience that is supportive, effective, and, ultimately, life-changing. Here are five things that make our residential treatment programs superior:

1. Holistic Approach to Treatment

Addiction and mental health issues are complex and often intertwined within various aspects of a person’s life. At Country Road, we believe in not just treating the symptoms, but the whole person. Our residential treatment program is designed to examine and heal the physical, emotional, and spiritual parts of your addiction and mental health issues. We employ a comprehensive range of therapeutic modalities, including individual therapy, group therapy, experiential therapy, and holistic treatments such as yoga, meditation, art therapy, and nature therapy. Our holistic approach to treatment means we can help our clients heal on multiple levels and develop a set of skills necessary for maintaining lasting recovery.

2. Individualized Treatment Plans

Run-of-the-mill treatment plans are so passé. This is why we customize our treatment plans for each individual who comes through our doors. No two people are the same. No two people are coming into treatment with the exact same history, struggles, and needs. When you enroll in our residential treatment program, you will undergo a thorough assessment to determine the most effective course of treatment for you. Our team of licensed clinicians will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific challenges, goals, and preferences. Whether you are struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, or a co-occurring disorder, we have the expertise and resources to help you get back on track. This is treatment for you, by you.

3. Experienced & Compassionate Staff

Our staff are the heart and soul of our residential addiction treatment program. Most of them are in long-term recovery and know what it’s like to be in your shoes. Their level of empathy, understanding and care comes from their lived experience. We are proud to have a team of expert and compassionate professionals who are dedicated to helping that comes through to achieve lasting recovery. From our licensed therapists and counselors to our medical staff and support personnel, everyone at Country Road is dedicated to providing the highest level of care in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. We’re here to pay back what was so freely given to us. We understand that seeking treatment can be a difficult and emotional process, which is why we strive to make our clients feel welcome, valued, and respected from the moment they walk through our doors.

4. Beautiful & Serene Location

A lot of people don’t immediately think of Oklahoma when they hear the words, “beautiful and serene” but if you’ve ever spent time in the OK countryside, you’ll know those words fit quite well. Nestled on 137 acres of pastureland, our campus offers a peaceful setting that is ideal for getting away from the outside world, healing, and self-reflection. We are surrounded by acres of natural beauty and only a hop, skip, and a jump away from the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge which was voted the most beautiful place in Oklahoma. (Don’t tell anyone, but we take whoever wants to go out to those mountains weekly for hiking) Whether you are taking a walk in the woods, sitting and fishing by the lake, or simply enjoying the fresh air, our campus will help you feel calm, centered, and inspired as you work towards a brighter future.

5. Aftercare & Continuing Support

The benefits of good aftercare programming are not talked about enough. In my personal experience, residential treatment gave me the foundation I needed in recovery but it was the aftercare community that supported me, held me accountable, and helped me continue my journey into long-term recovery. That’s why at Country Road we work diligently to cultivate a deep alumni network that is ready to embrace you with open arms when you finish your time in treatment. From alumni events and support groups to individual counseling and sober living arrangements, we are here to help you every step of the way as you transition back into the community. Our goal is to equip you with the tools, resources, and support you need to maintain lasting sobriety, build healthy relationships, and lead a fulfilling life beyond Country Road Recovery.

When I arrived at Country Road I was terrified. Full of guilt, shame, and resentment. In other words I had nothing of value left to offer those around me.

I was welcomed with open arms and I slowly began the healing process.

Now, as the Executive Chef I have been blessed with the opportunity to literally serve and feed people who are just like I was when I first got here! Now, I have plenty of love, and light, (and food) to share with those around me! For this, I will forever be grateful.
